After several years a new interview is published on our blog, but the first time we publish the original version too. In the future we plan to publish every new interview (made by our crew in English or in German) not only in Hungarian but the original version too to make the life of our nonhungarian readers easier.
Unfortunatelly we could not find the German version of the Moshpit and Daily Broken Dreams interviews, so the elder ones will not republished.
Now enjoy the discussion with the top Russian NSHC group, Death Penalty! A big thank You for the band for the fast response; in our opinion it is a very interesting and good interview with our Russian comrades.
1., First of all, please tell us about the begining of the band! When and why did you form the group?
Greetings to you and all white nationalists! We are Death Penalty. Our band was created over 10 years ago. My first band was called «Destroy Moscow». We played ska/punk/rac music about skinheads, girls and beer. :) We were young and made music mostly for fun and positive. Years later I rethought some views, became sXe and created more seriously band. So the conception, texts and sound were changed.
2., Why did you choose this name?
Our name represents our hard stance on the crimes commited against our nation: drug dealing, racial treason, pedophilia, islamisation, destruction of family etc
3., How would you describe your music?
The voice of truth. The music should motivate our comrades and makes them never give up and believe in their own rightness. Also, by our music we try to bring important thoughts to those who just becoming a part of our ranks. We can’t underestimate the importance of music. As you remember, most of us came to these ranks and became united through it.
If you mean our music style, we don’t play it in a single one as you can hear. Earlier songs contain more old-school riffs similar to old-school hardcore. Now we are playing more interesting, I think. We try to play more technically and make qualitative sound with prevalence of metalcore. Maybe such difference depends on the fact that sometimes our band had changes in members. And every new person tried to bring to our sound the part of himself.
4., Are you an ns band? Could you describe your political views?
Generally we are all NS. If we start to discuss it deeper, every person has it’s own view on certain things. It’s normally. Sometimes we discuss and argue with each other but we are still the best friends and we have the same enemies. So, I don’t think it is important to delve into any nuances of politics. It can divide us. Now it is especially important to be united cause our country is on the edge of revoluton. We see it and believe in a great changes.
5., Currently there are several ns and nationalist HC bands in Russia. What is your opinion about this "explosion"? How many working NSHC bands are in Russia nowadays?
It’s great. We don’t see anything bad if our movement goes in step with the times. As well as music. So, 15 years ago we had a lot of RAC-bands. Now it turned into hardcore style. Young generation takes it positively. So why not? The exception is the so-called «right rap». Rap is shit - remember it) Now it is not so popular in Russia as it was 4-5 years ago. It’s good.
Nowadays there are 8-10 NSHC bands at least that stably perform on the right stage.
6., Are the rightwing political HC bands cooperating with each other?
Sure. With most of NSHC-bands we have friendly relations and we’re glad to perform on the one stage.
7., What is your opinion on the current situation in Ukraine? Do You support any side in this conflict? There are rumors that white nationalists are fightinfg on both sides. Is this true?
We are against the fraternal wars. Political fagots led by Putin forced the two brotherly nations to turn their weapons towards to each other. And it’s true: some especially «clever» nationalists went to defend honor and freedom of…Russia? Against the Ukrainians? On the Ukrainian land? These stupid bastards kill their brothers instead of fighting with the main enemy, who forced them to fratricide: from whores in the face of corrupt military generals, ending with politicians of the government.
But adequate Russians and Ukrainians are still have brotherly relations. Both of them know and understand why this war was created. The government should always show an external enemy to their people in order to divert attention from internal problems.
8., How is the everyday life in Russia nowadays?
We have a simple and understandable word for it: pizdets. It’s like a «fucked up» in English. We returned into Soviet Union with our laws. Nowadays each of us has his own policeman as I can see. Total control and prohibitions. We can’t speak what we think. Even in the internet you can go to jail after the reposting or «like» any picture which can be intolerant. But it’s only excuse, not a reason. They need to imprison everyone who try to resist.
9., In Hungary several people have the opinion, that Putin is a new Hitler, however I heard from several Russian sources that Putin's regime oppresses the Russian nationalist and NS movement. Could You tell us about this a bit more?
I think it’s cause of aggressive foreign policy that he leads last time. We heard from European nationalists such opinion but it’s wrong. He is rather a new Stalin, than Hitler. He do nothing for our nation. Today 22 millions of our people living under the poverty line. There is no any migration policy and as a result – no national identity in people. Any attempts to declare their belonging to the Russian nation are severely suppressed. We have a lot of political prisoners. So, he is the enemy number one for all of us. We believe that sooner or later our time will come, the evil will fall down and each of our comrades will be liberate.
10., Is it easy to organise demos, events, gigs, etc. in your area?
No, it’s more than hard. Almost every gig control by cops and most of attempts to organise such event are end badly. Especially in the capital (Moscow). Often the ACABs with weapons, batons and electroshockers break the doors of the club and do "educational work" with the people who came. So for a successful event, we must be maximally conserved. And we can’t to gather lots of friends, cause the half of them doesn’t even know about the gig.
11., The current political situation in the world is quiet tough. How do you and Russian nationalist/NS people look on the Russian-American tensions? What is Your opinion on the North-Korean crisis?
Opinions are different. In my view these both problems doesn’t matter for us. These are great games for the masses, who need to feel their involvement in solving international problems. With foam at the mouth they shout about their patriotism and devotion to the country. They automatically support their own governments. In my opinion, national and racial problems are still the most important for my land and for all Europe. For all nationalists the main enemy sits inside the country. And if the third world war is inevitable, I will follow the principles based on my race and nation. We must secure the existance of white nations.
I don’t care much about North Korea, they are definetely not OUR enemies, and I am sure they will have good relations with any pro-white governments that will appear.
12., What are the plans with the band? any new releases nowadays?
Despite all the repressions we won’t stop and will record the new songs. In our main plans is a creating of full-length album. Sorry that we record new songs so rarely. Last year was quite difficult for this. We promise that we will do our best for creation quality and fiery album.
13, In Your opinion, which are the best bands in your country currently?
Each band has their own unique sound. Tastes are different. I think at the top are: Трезвый Заряд, Инсургент, Right Choice, Презумпция Невиновности, YMM, Shoot on Sight. And Death Penalty, of course)
14, Do you know anything about the Hungarian movement?
Yes, and we are even planning a release with one very famous hungarian band))
I like hungarian NSHC scene Feher Torveny and Voice of Justice are my favourite bands.
Also I have written a lot for our sXe blogs about Attila Petrovsky, because I think he has done great job with promoting NS, sports and sXe.
We also know that your country is one of the few in Europe who is trying to reject EU-dictated flood of migrants and rapefugees.
As a band we will be happy to play one day in your glorious country!
